This is my first time teaching Janet after two weeks. Janet and I reviewed the passage from last week today, and she was able to understand the content much better than before. With help from her parents, she is starting to become more fluent with reading and speaking. I noticed that she could perfectly understand and pronounce all the different directions. We also read a few passages about new years and learned about the different traditions like making dumplings, visiting relatives (family gatherings), and red envelopes. She was more familiar with Pinyin and was able to sound out a whole passage without my help.
