Today was my first class with William and so at the beginning of the class, I introduced myself as well as asked him some general questions such as what is his name, what is his age, and what his favorite animal is. Today I wanted to know where his level is, so I started off by doing some reading exercises with him. I read a couple of times before I let him try reading it. Then the next thing I did was I showed him a couple of very short cartoon videos and quizzed him with three to five questions to test his understanding of what happened in the short video. He was able to answer the majority of the questions I asked. The first class was very fun, and I am looking forward to more interesting classes in the future.
