For this class, I decided to practice reading and summarizing text with William. At the beginning of the class, we started off by doing readings prepared by the Immersion Talk program. I personally really enjoyed using the materials prepared by the program. The reason is because each line of words is very clear and also it also comes with a video explaining the proper use of the words, as well as pinyin so that the students can refer to it in case they forget how to pronounce the word. After the reading, we continued to improve William’s skill in summarizing and also predicting what would happen next in the text.
