I made three videos for Weekly Talk this week and talked about a few social media apps, such as Douyin and Twitter. Many of my friends and I use Douyin daily, as our daily source of laughter. Many students in the U.S may use Tiktok daily as well too. Tiktok is the English version of Douyin, and both of these apps are very popular worldwide. They both allow users to post and scroll through thousands of videos. Data shows that Douyin and Tiktok have been downloaded more than two hundred thousand times. I thought it might be a topic that young students are interested in.
