This week in Bilingual Story Time, I worked on translating the orientation slides and a story book called “the Tiny Seed” from English to Chinese. It was my first time doing translation tasks and I really enjoyed the process. I could practice both my Chinese and English skills, and I could use my advantage to contribute to the Bilingual Story Time community as a part of the group. Overall, I really like the volunteer experience I had this week, and I am looking forward to doing more tasks in various areas later at Cross Cultures.
