This week in Immersion Talk, I taught my first lesson to a student called Tyler. This was my first time ever teaching someone Chinese. Even though I am fluent in both Chinese and English, teaching a language is a different topic. But my first experience with teaching was super pleasant. Tyler and I introduced ourselves and I taught him around the topic of Dong Bei San Sheng. We mainly talked about the food there and I showed him part of a related documentary at the end of class.
