03/20 Lily Wang’s Class Notes


Today, both the student and I arrived on time. The student presented his self introduction that he completed last week. I corrected some use of grammar and added more details to the introduction such as after the introduction of the age, there should also be a grade level as well as his favorite school subject. Then, I asked him questions from the previous two lessons such as what is the character’s favorite Chinese and Westerrn food. I then taught two new lessons starting with the student’s reading through and then doing a little summary

in Chinese about the general plot line. I then translated and explained new vocabulary to the student, such as wind, cloud, airport, and ocean waves. Overall, the class went smoothly, and the student actively participated.
