This program is called “ABL,” which stands for “Abbreviation Learning.” Our program is divided into four different levels. In today’s class, we reviewed the three lessons the students learned previously. First, our teachers went over the vocabulary from the last three courses. We explained some of the vocabularies and allowed students to understand the rest of the vocabulary by themselves. After that, students finished a mini Kahoot, which gave us a sense of how much the students could remember. We also prepared a game for students. This game includes the previous vocabulary and also a discussion on culture. Students could remember the lectures more in-depth this way. We talked about different dishes and their origins in Chinese and American culture, and the discussion lasted for fifteen minutes. All the students enjoy the discussion.
