character Xiao Hong having a birthday party in the park, and her friend Ming Ming joining her party. First, I let Anya learn through Language Box. After she finished it, I read the lesson, and Anya followed me. I then translated the course into English. Since there are many repeating words, I translated the first one, and let Anya pick up the similarity and

translate the latter ones. After that, we role-played

the dialogue. Anya first chose Ming Ming’s script.

Then she did the Xiao Hong. The class was pretty

good. As before, Anya got most of the more

challenging words, but still needs to work on the rest!
