Today was my first online class with Cora and we asked each other about our summer vacation. Cora went to Spain and told me how boring her trip was because she couldn’t go outside. She spoke in Chinese when describing her summer, which was impressive. I taught her with the more advanced curriculum and we listened to two kids talking about transitioning between elementary school to high school. Sometimes Cora would go off topic and I went off topic with her. Next time, I will keep myself and the student on task. I will also interact with her more so she stays focused.
