This week Timothy and I reviewed the fourth lesson of third grade and started learning the fifth lesson of third grade. In the other class of this week, we learned about Mid-Autumn Festival and shared our favorite moon cake favors. We watched a short clip about Jade rabbit pounding the medicine and Chang'e flying to the moon in Chinese. I will adjust the class with the recent event and the lesson to improve their interest about learning Chinese. After watching the short clip, my student could retell the story in a mixture of Chinese and English. My student absorbed the lesson very well, although it is hard for him to remember the order of the strokes when writing Chinese characters.
