Ethan and I read a total of five articles this week. I explained the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival in class and showed Ethan a 6-minute video on how to make “Zongzi.” Ethan and I also shared our family traditions on celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival. Then, I spent the rest of the time quizzing Ethan. His is much more fluent with pinyin now. I am also pleased to see that he is now speaks more Chinese in class.
