Sophie and I reviewed the text of the last lesson today, and I found that she still needs to strengthen her understanding of the text. Sophie has made great progress understanding the context. She can also read more fluently now. Sophie began to answer my questions actively in class, and I always encourage her to respond in Chinese. Today we learned an ancient poem which describes the scenery. I also showed Sophie a three-minute video and explained the meaning of the poem. I also used the whiteboard and taught her to write "star" in Chinese.
