Sophie and I learned lesson 21 today in class. Before class, Sophie said something really funny happened today at school and offered to tell me the story. It was so funny we both couldn’t stop laughing! Afterwards, we review the previous lesson together. She did an excellent job except for lesson 19. She paused several times reading the story, so she still has room for improvement. Then we learned our new lesson “上学歌 (Shang Xue Ge)” and shared how we each go to school before the coronavirus. We had some time left over, so I introduced her to some Chinese expressions for Halloween. We watched a video about Halloween together.
