This time I taught Cora a new lesson, “The Airport (Ji Chang)”. First, I shared my screen and showed Cora the video on Language Box and the transcript. Then, I explained the meaning of the conversation in detail. Since Cora already has a steady foundation in Chinese, she quickly understood the overall message. There were only a few words she does not know like “GaoTie” which means high-speed railroad. After we finished the lesson, we made a list of things people cannot do in China and the United States. We both learned a lot.
