Last week, I worked on the translation for the book “Matthew’s Dream.” It was my first time translating a book and I was pretty proud of my final results. Translating a book is harder than I thought because sometimes the meaning of a sentence will completely change if you directly translate the text word by word. Next time I think I will spend less time translating since I will be more familiar with how to translate. Overall I think translating a short story is an interesting task to do and I would love to do it more often.
