My student Sophie and I studied grade one lesson number sixteen for this week. We also reviewed lesson number thirteen to fifteen. We shared fun facts about our lives before class began. Since my student has her own Mulanting account, I will be helping her review the lessons she has learned at home. Sophie tries very hard to pronounce everything, but she still has trouble recognizing the more complicated characters. I taught her the vocabulary sheet for lesson sixteen and showed her the definition. I also paired my explanation with images of objects associated with the word to strengthen her understanding and memory. For homework, I asked her to review lesson sixteen.
