Today is my first class with Cora. Cora is lovely and inquisitive. She has many ideas and suggested many topics we could discuss during the course. Since this is my first time teaching her, I did not stress the lesson content as I usually would. We introduced ourselves to each other, and I asked her about school and how classes are going for her. I still saved some time to evaluate her Chinese level. I asked her some vocabulary from the lessons she learned, and she got most of it, which was pretty amazing! Her Chinese is pretty good. We can even exchange conversation in Chinese during the class, and she could understand most of it! I am so happy to teach her!!!
